Just as your car needs care and maintenance on a regular basis, your windows and doors need the same care and maintenance from time to time.
As stated in your Lifetime Warranty and Care & Maintenance Guide,
routine maintenance should be done on all movable parts. Over time,
dirt and grime can cause problems with the operation of your windows and doors if they are not maintained properly. All balancers and rollers, as well as the tracks on all Sliders and Patio Doors should be cleaned on a regular basis.
Your
warranty covers all factory defects (i.e. defective glass, broken
balancer, etc.). However, it does not cover normal wear and tear, which
can lead to chargeable service calls if not properly maintained. The Stanek Care & Maintenance Program
is being offered to our customers as a way to save you time and money,
and assure that your investment stays working as well as the day you
