Rotting Patio Door Replaced with Stanek® Double-Hung Vinyl Windows

Although the home is not very old, the aluminum-clad wood patio door the builder installed was already rotting in this Twinsburg, OH home. Because they rarely used the door, the homeowners decided to convert the opening to a window to give them more wall space in the room.
They explored several local companies to replace the door and chose Stanek® brand windows. The homeowners thought the quality of Stanek® windows was far superior to the competition and felt that the experience and craftsmanship of the Stanek® installers would allow them to alter the door opening without any issues. The door was replaced with two Stanek® UltraExtreme® double-hung windows with high-performance Comfort-Gard® PLUS insulated glass. Colonial grids were added to the white vinyl windows to complement the home. The Stanek® crew did a complete conversion of the opening with exterior sheathing, insulation and vinyl siding color-matched to the existing siding for a seamless appearance. New interior framing, drywall and window trim make it look like a door never existed.
The homeowners are thrilled with the easy operation of their windows and the tilt-in feature that makes cleaning a breeze! They can now relax and enjoy the view.
